Security

From July 1st 2004, it is estimated that more than 40.000 commercial vessels and some 2.800 ports handling international trade will be required to have dedicated security plans and be assessed under the new International Maritime Organisation's mandatory International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) code.

Oslo Port Authority has finished the Port Facility Security Assessment and the Port Facility Security Plan. Oslo Port will therefore in time before the 01.07.04 be fully prepared for ISPS code.
