Due to major maintenance of the Norwegian Railroad system , several train lines will be down starting from March 14th 2011. The maintenance work is scheduled to finish early October 2011. All the scheduled trains not in service will be replaced by busses.

Cruise Nord-Norge og Svalbard har oppsummert cruisesesongen 2011. Tallene viser en nedgang både i antall anløp og passasjerer for de aller største havnene, mens de mindre havnene har god fremgang. Prognosen for 2012 er svært bra for alle destinasjoner.
Future Port Development in Oslo

In mid-December 2010 a group from the Oslo Municipality, fronted by the PBE group (Agency for Planning and Building Services), along with participants from the Port of Oslo and Visit Oslo, released a report on the future demand for cruise quays in Oslo.
